Sourcing
Sourcing and purchasing are an essential part of our work as they guarantee the quality of the fish we deliver to you. We are your eyes in the local auction houses of Cornouaille. Our buyers check the quality and freshness of the fish at Le Guilvinec, Concarneau, Saint-Guénolé and Loctudy.
For “blue” fishes, such as sardines, mackerels and horse mackerels, we work by mutual agreement with various seiners and more specifically with the boat VAG-A-LAMM. The fishing ports of Douarnenez and Saint Guénolé are regularly visited.
Privileged partnerships are set up directly with boats for some species. For the sea bass, we get our supplies from the “Namouic”, on the Glénan archipelago.
We mainly buy from Breton fishing ports, specialised in inshore and offshore fishing: Erquy, Saint-Quay-Portrieux, Roscoff, Brest, Quiberon and Lorient.
Transformation: Sorting, Threading and Cutting
Our products range is wide: we offer whole or gutted fish, with the possibility to get it without the head. All our whole fish lines are graded by type of species, processed depending on your needs and delivered in crates or by the piece.
Both us and our customers are attached to our handmade fillets.
Our experienced filletmakers offer different types of cut such as fillets with or without flanks, without edges, and portions adapted to your needs.
We offer different qualities of fish, from high to standard. For example, we have three offers for the sea bass: line, net or trawl caught.
Regarding the monkfish, we have the following range: inshore fishing, net fishing (Roscoff, Audierne) or trawl caught.
As we are sardine specialists, our workshop is equipped with an automatic filleting machine, so we can supply you with top quality sardine fillets.

We can speak English, German and Spanish, in order to be able to adapt to different international requests. We provide our services to supermarkets, wholesalers, fishmongers, retailers and restaurant owners and we guarantee the same follow-up and the same attentiveness to all our customers.
We have years of experience providing our services, so you will always find the right representative at the « Pêcheries Celtiques ». We are responsive and concerned about providing you with the right advice, choice and follow-up and our advisers maintain the spirit of a “human-sized” company in order to fit your most specific requests.
Shipping and transportation
Located at the port of Concarneau, Finistère, the tide station is located a few tens of meters from our workshop.
All our products are delivered, labeled to CE standards, for a traceability in all transparency (Quality, Fishing zone, Date of shipment).
Shipments are made with partners used to transport our products: Stef, Delanchy, Express Marée, Transport Guiffant. Without any break in the cold chain, we ensure an irreproachable freshness to your fish.
